There are rock pooling and fossil hunting beaches on either side of the harbour, and pebble and sand beaches at Blue Anchor (4.5 miles) and Dunster (6 miles). Step back in time and aboard a steam train on the West Somerset Railway, that takes you through the beautiful Somerset countryside. Enjoy a visit to the coastal town of Minehead (8 miles), with its sandy beach, and the attractive village of Porlock (13 miles).
