Located in an elevated position the cottage enjoys some wonderful far reaching views across the Derwent Valley which sits below. There is easy access to Matlock the country houses of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall and the picturesque market town of Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District National Park. You enter the cottage from external stone steps on the gable end into a good sized beamed lounge / dining area with imposing vaulted trussed ceiling wooden floors and a gas coal effect log burning stove. Also on this floor down a single step is the master bedroom with a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom with bath and shower over toilet and hand basin. The wooden stairs (be careful as you go up and down) leads down to the well equipped kitchen / occasional breakfast area. There are two further bedrooms one with a double bed the third with a single bed. The general bathroom has a shower over the bath toilet and hand basin.
