Also known as Woolfardisworthy, the village is approximately 3.5 miles from Clovelly, which is set in the Hartland Devon Heritage Coast area and famous for its steep hillside setting and donkeys that carry goods up and down its slopes. Sleeping six people and also welcoming two dogs, the spacious, three-bedroom cabin is surrounded by woodland and comes with its own hot tub in which you can relax as you look out for wildlife or gaze up at the stars. Step inside the inviting abode and find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Gather in here to watch a film on the Smart TV or play games together. On fine days, pull open the door on to the terrace so everyone can spill outside. Take turns at cooking tasty meals for your party then dine together at the table inside or out. Enjoy a long soak in the family bathroom after exhilarating days out, then head off to either the king-size bedroom, which has its own balcony and en-suite shower room, with washer/dryer, or either of the two twins. Dine outside as often as possible; sizzle supper on the BBQ on occasion and enjoy the peace and the privacy. Unwind in your personal hot tub as often as you choose. Find parking for two cars comes with the cabin. Go to the beach at Clovelly or head 11 miles to Westward Ho! where you can swim, surf and paddleboard from the long sandy beach. This is a wonderful, detached bungalow, offering spacious and beautifully presented accommodation for up to six people and two dogs. The modern kitchen is well equipped, and the large living-dining room is bright and inviting. There are three fantastic bedrooms, two king-size and a twin. One of the king-size bedrooms has its own en-suite shower room, and a great family shower room too. At the front of the cottage is parking for three/four cars at the front of the cottage and a delightful garden to the rear. This lovely bungalow is accessible throughout for most wheelchairs with ramp to the side of the front door and a wet room-style, accessible shower in the en-suite bathroom. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle but still just a pleasant 10-minute level walk into town, you really have got the best of both worlds here. Stroll into town and spend a morning looking around the shops or visit the world-famous Pencil Museum, just a 5-minute walk from the cottage. If you fancy an evening out, there is a wide choice of eateries to try, from traditional pubs to quirky restaurants offering signature cocktails alongside their delicious food. Take in a performance at the Theatre by the Lake or watch a film at the Alhambra Cinema. With fantastic walking opportunities from the door, you could try a different route every day without even having to get in the car. Scramble up Catbells or Walla Cragg, or tackle the popular Coledale Horseshoe for a longer day out on the fell tops. There are plenty of lower levels walks too; enjoy a ramble through the trees at Great Wood or follow the footpath to the neighbouring village of Portinscale where you can refuel with homemade treats from The Chalet Tea Rooms or The Lingholm Estate. The stylish kitchen is well equipped with a built-in gas oven and separate gas hobs, useful washing machine and handy microwave. The ceiling-height bookshelves are sure to please any book worm and the armchairs in front of the picture window are perfectly placed for catching up with a good book. Last but by no means least is the delightful twin room, which has a lovely view over the rooftops to the fells beyond. The modern family shower room has a WC, washbasin and large shower enclosure. Outside to the rear of the cottage is a wonderful, enclosed garden. By the back door is a raised patio area with table and chairs - a perfect spot for dining alfresco. The lawn, down a couple of steps from the patio, is surrounded by beautiful planting, and theres a charming pergola tucked in one corner, the ideal place to relax and unwind from the stresses of everyday life. To the front of the cottage is a private driveway with space for three/four cars. Theres also a small car port to the side of the cottage which could be used for storing bikes; please note that, though this area is covered, it is open so youll need to bring your own secure bike locks if youd like to leave your bikes here.
