Llwyn Celyn is a beautiful traditional Welsh barn conversion that has been skilfully restored into an exquisite holiday home. The owner has kept many of the original features such as oak beams and stone walls to make this a spacious and luxurious property. There is a private hot tub and sauna in which you can take in the breathtaking views of the rolling Cambrian Mountains and watch the Red Kites and Peregrine Falcons soar above. Enjoy the Cors Caron nature reserve which allows you to savour the area’s wildlife in a natural setting. It covers some 3,000 acres and here you can enjoy an abundance of walks including a network of boardwalks to see the reserve at close quarters. You may spot many species of birds, fish and aquatic plants as well as small mammals and even otters. Close to the Cambrian Mountains Astro Trail, with Coed Y Bont, Pontrhydfendigaid being the closest Dark Sky Discovery Site. Nearby is the village of Pontrhydfendigaid which has a pub and a shop within 500 meters. Just outside the village, you will find the ruins of Strata Florida Abbey, one of Wales’ most important historical sites, lying within a picturesque and peaceful valley. For a day by the sea, the coastal towns of Aberystwyth and Aberaeron are a short drive away offering beaches, fantastic restaurants and boutique-style shops.
