Towy Cottage is a beautifully finished country cottage, one of 6 at Penwern Fach, a former farm. Perfectly placed for enjoying all that Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion have to offer, the nearby beaches are ideal for families and walkers have easy access to the coast and countryside. The cottage is well-proportioned and modern with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Enjoy a drink outside on the sunny patio or relax in front of the wood burner in the evening. Penwern Fach has fantastic views across the Teifi Valley to the Preseli Hills beyond and the farm extends to 10 acres with communal gardens, lawns, a golf practice field, and a play area. It is only 1.5 miles from the quaint village of Cenarth, famous for its waterfalls and salmon fishing with a riverside café, pub, and Coracle museum. The spectacular coastline of Cardigan Bay with its sandy beaches and pretty seaside villages is just 15 minutes away. Take a dolphin spotting boat trip or visit the Welsh Wildlife Centre and Teifi Marshes for the chance to spot kingfishers and water buffalo. The market towns of Newcastle Emlyn and Cardigan nearby have independent shops, cafés, pubs, and supermarkets. Further afield walkers will love the Preseli Hills or the stunning landscape of the Cambrian Mountains.
