The Cors Country House offers a truly unique and fabulous stay in Laugharne, Carmarthenshire. Formally a restaurant, you may recognise the kitchen which was used in filming the BAFTA award-winning BBC drama, ‘Keeping Faith’. This large property is ideal for escaping the crowds, getting together with family or friends, and to use as a base to explore the magnificent coast and countryside of West Wales. The mesmerising and scenic two acres of landscaped gardens are a wonderful place to explore, soak up the sun, or enjoy afternoon tea or a BBQ in picturesque surroundings. The garden is filled with beautiful wonders, including ponds, sculptures, and an array of impressive greenery, with a choice of seating areas. Cors Country House is located in the heart of Laugharne, home to renowned poet and author Dylan Thomas. Nestled on the border between Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, Laugharne is close to beautiful beaches, woodland walks and exciting attractions. Pendine Sands is less than 15 minutes away, with its seven miles of sandy beach and lovely views over Carmarthen Bay and across to Gower and Tenby. Further along the coast, you will find the coastal towns of Amroth, Saundersfoot and Tenby, which are all fantastic places to visit.
