The cottage offers a peaceful base perfectly positioned for both coastline and countryside, with the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, beautiful beaches, and scenic walks right on your doorstep. The village is known for its friendly atmosphere, historic St Dogmaels Abbey, weekly local market, and riverside setting. Restaurants, cafés, pubs, and an organic veg shop are all within a short walk. Poppit Sands, a wide dog-friendly beach perfect for families and couples, is just a 7-minute drive. This is an excellent spot for exploring West Wales, enjoying coastal hikes, relaxing on the beach, and discovering Cardigan’s shops, arts scene, and fantastic local food. Everything you need for a comfortable holiday is close by—making Mount Gernos a great choice for couples, walkers, small families, and anyone travelling with a well-behaved dog. ACCOMMODATION Mount Gernos sleeps 3 in 2 upstairs bedrooms: 1 double and 1 single room UPSTAIRS Bedroom 1: double bed, chest of drawers, hanging rail space, bedside tables, chair Bedroom 2: single bed, hanging rail space, bedside table Bathroom: shower, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail DOWNSTAIRS Sitting room: 3-seater sofa, 2 armchairs, Freeview TV/DVD, electric log burner, coffee table Kitchen: halogen hob, gas oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, table seating 3 OUTSIDE The rear lawned garden is situated behind the property (up the steps). Spectacular views from the garden. There is parking for one car on the driveway ( need to reverse out of the space), but there is no front garden.
