Heddfan is a well-presented cottage situated perfectly in the quiet village of Llansteffan, Carmarthenshire. The cottage features an open-plan living area, giving a spacious feel. The wood burner is the focal point of the living room and is a welcome treat after a day at the beach in the colder months. The contemporary central kitchen and dining area lead to a period-style bathroom, with two comfortable bedrooms upstairs. The outdoor decked area overlooking a small stream is a lovely location to relax after an energetic day of sightseeing. Heddfan is ideally placed for exploring the best of Llansteffan and is only a five-minute walk from the two village pubs and the local shop in one direction, and a five-minute walk to the beautiful estuary beaches in the other. Tuck into fish and chips on one of the benches, which have stunning views of the beach and Ferryside across the water. Llansteffan is a picturesque and traditional Welsh coastal village with a magnificent Norman castle perched on top of the headland overlooking the Tywi Estuary. Several scenic footpaths lead to Scott’s Bay, an all-year-round dog-friendly beach just beyond the castle. With many wonderful countryside walks from the village, as well as the magnificent Wales Coast Path, and its location only eight miles from Carmarthen, Llansteffan is an excellent choice. There are many other interesting places to visit only a short drive away, including the National Botanic Gardens of Wales and the coastal villages and towns of Laugharne, Pendine, Amroth, Saundersfoot and Tenby.
