Pen-Y-Graig Cottage is a 150-year-old former longhouse set in its own private, secure gardens on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Carmarthenshire. Boasting breathtaking views over the magnificent Beacons with beautiful countryside walks from the door, this is ideal for those wanting to get away from it all. Well suited to anyone who enjoys the outdoors, the surrounding roads are a cyclist's dream! In the evening, cosy up in front of the inglenook fireplace with log burner or enjoy a game of pool in the large kitchen diner with your friends and family. The property is next door to the owner's smallholding, so you can see their alpacas, Pygmy goats and other animals over the fence and meet them if you wish to during your stay. The cottage is in a peaceful setting, just a short distance from the village of Brynamman. Tuck into a tasty meal or enjoy a drink with the locals in the three public houses. You'll also find a cinema, cafe and post office within the Black Mountain Centre. Carmarthenshire is known as 'the Garden of Wales', and there are plenty of wonderful places to visit, including forests filled with wildlife, fascinating castles, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre and Aberglasney Gardens. Spend days exploring the Brecon Beacons or head towards the coast where you can enjoy the Wales Coast Path, stunning beaches and charming coastal villages.
