Relax at Otters’ Holt, a cosy bolthole in the heart of Georgian Aberaeron, widely regarded as one of the most picturesque coastal towns in Wales. This lovely basement apartment is near the river - so you may spot the resident otters – and conveniently located just a short walk from Aberaeron’s North and South Beaches. The harbour and town centre with a variety of shops and eateries, including the renowned Harbourmaster restaurant, are on the doorstep. The Welsh Coast Path passes nearby and there is a lovely inland walk or family cycle ride to the National Trust’s Llanerchaeron mansion. You can go crab fishing off the harbour wall or try sea fishing, sailing, sea kayaking and more in New Quay (15 minutes). And a dolphin-watching boat trip along the coast is a must! Scenic drives abound: inland through the verdant Aeron Valley to the Cors Caron Nature Reserve and the wild slopes of the Cambrian Mountains, north along the coast to Ynyslas Nature Reserve and the southern edge of the Snowdonia National Park or south to Pembrokeshire. This basement apartment is accessed via wide steps from the parking area and the accommodation is on one level so may suit guests with restricted mobility.
