This beautifully converted Sunday school is the perfect rural retreat for families or couples, overlooking the rolling countryside of South Cornwall.

The Old Sunday School offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Inside, you'll find a cosy space with comfortable seating, wood burner and tasteful decor.

Lanteglos is close to the popular waterside town of Fowey, and you can get there via the Bodinnick Ferry (cars and pedestrian) which is only a two minute drive. Fowey has a gorgeous estuary where you can enjoy boat trips, or hire canoes. Readymoney Cove beach is close by, where you can soak up the sun, take a dip, or walk the South West Coast Path through the town and beyond. Also nearby is the picturesque harbourside village of Polperro, with its historic charm and beautiful setting.

Entrance hall

Lounge diner; Open plan ground-floor lounge/diner with sofa and two arm chairs, smart TV, and wood burner. Dining table to seat four guests.

Kitchen; Modern and well equipped kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, washer/dryer, microwave, slimline dishwasher, Krups coffee pod machine

First Floor

Bedroom 1 with king size 5'bed, with exposed beams and vaulted ceiling, and beautiful countryside view.

Bedroom 2 with two 3' single beds, vaulted ceiling and exposed beams.

Family bathroom with large shower enclosure, electric shower, heated towel rail, WC and wash basin.

Outside:

Small courtyard garden to front of property, accessed from the lounge, with bistro table and chairs and countryside view (please be aware there is a road in front, though it is not busy).

Parking:

No designated parking, but there is a long layby opposite with plenty of parking spaces.

Unfortunately this property is not suitable for EV charging as the parking area is across the road from the property.

• Included: Bed linen, towels (no beach towels so please bring your own), electricity, heating (electric radiators and underfloor heating)and unlimited WiFi. 
• Telephone: No telephone. Mobile reception good.
• Pets: One well behaved dog welcome.
• Local Facilities: Beaches at Lansallos and Polperro tidal beach, 6 miles away.  Pelynt for groceries and a good food pub just over 3 miles. Fowey 1.5 miles (accessed across the Bodinnick ferry) for lots of shops and pubs/restaurants, the charming harbourside village of Polperro 6 miles, the sea side town of Looe 10 miles.
