Stancombe Manor nestles in the tranquil countryside above Frogmore Creek; if you can tear yourself away from this idyllic retreat and all its amenities you will find the bustling market town of Kingsbridge a short drive away, with shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and a cinema. The villages of Chillington and Stokenham are also close by, both offering good pubs and village or farm shops for local produce. The huge expanse of beach at Torcross is around a ten-minute drive away, from here meander along the scenic coast road to the historic town of Dartmouth which has many amenities to entertain all ages. The popular sailing town of Salcombe is also easily accessible by road or take the scenic road to East Portlemouth and enjoy crossing on the foot ferry. The South West Coast Path can be joined at many points nearby if you are looking to explore the stunning coastline and many countryside walks can be enjoyed directly from Stancombe Manor. A super base from which to explore the South Hams.
