Slipway House is a fine three storey house set back from the ferry slipway on the water's edge, with magnificent views of the River Dart and across to Dartmouth. At the end of a row of period houses, it is ideally placed for both Kingswear, the quieter and sunnier side of the water with a handful of pubs and restaurants; and Dartmouth, the jewel of the South Hams renowned for its lively harbour, Castle, Royal Naval College and remarkable selection of boutique shops, pubs and gourmet restaurants. The house is full of character with an appealing interior which is stylish, tastefully furnished with comfort and a touch of luxury and takes great advantage of the large windows in nearly all rooms that look across the river. Once the car is parked there is no need to drive again. Catch the foot or car ferry across to Dartmouth, or the Paignton and Dartmouth steam train to Goodrington Sands and the English Riviera, or boat trips to Totnes and Brixham. There are magnificent doorstep walks along the coastal path and sandy coves. Sugary Cove for example is within walking distance on the Dartmouth side with the famous Blackpool Sands 4 miles further on.

Stairs to landing and the comfortable living room, furnished with two 3 seater sofas, two armchairs, flat screen TV with digital Freeview and DVD, CD/stereo and marble fireplace with electric flame effect fire. Twin bedroom with 3ft beds, fitted cupboards, river views and adjacent second bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Access from this level to the private terrace. Stairs to the top floor and fine master bedroom with 5ft bed, superb river views and en-suite shower room with shower, wash basin and WC. Second double bedroom, overlooking Priory Gardens, with 4ft 6in bed. Bunk bedroom with a set of 3ft bunks and river views

The sunny terrace at the rear of the property has a garden table and 8 chairs looking over gardens and wooded hillside beyond.

There is an adjoining garage which is suitable for one small car or boat.
Alternatively, daily tickets can be purchased and renewed (via the RingGo App) for up to 28 days at Dart Haven Marina Car Park (a few minutes away) – Over 320 car parking spaces for visitors and general public. The car park operates a Pay & Display system and is managed by PPS (Premier Parking Solutions). Payment can be made by cash, card or RingGo - http://www.darthaven.co.uk/facilities Up to 24hrs is currently £6.60 (Winter) and £8.00 (Summer).
