Perrotts is a detached, classic country house tucked away down a quiet lane on the hill at the head of Batson Creek. The property is 10-15 minutes walk to Salcombe and the beautiful estuary. Enjoying wonderful views, this spacious home has a very light and airy open plan living area with oak flooring opening out to a large sunny patio and gardens that surround the property. Another fantastic feature is the hot tub, great for relaxing and unwinding. All this combines to provide a relaxing environment to make you feel at home. Two reception rooms enable guests or children to work, read or play, and the well appointed bedrooms ensure restful nights after the activities of the day. Salcombe and the surrounding area need little introduction and provide an ideal base for a holiday. We could go on, but take it from us that Perrotts is an ideal holiday destination that is sure to entice you back.

First floor:

Second lounge/TV room with 2 sofas, a feature open fire and flat screen TV and DVD
Bedroom 1 with twin 3ft single beds (bunk bed shelf above twin beds), feature fireplace and desk

Second Floor:
Bedroom 2 overlooking the front garden with 6ft bed
Bedroom 3 with 6ft bed and views over the garden and countryside and en suite shower room with basin and WC
Bedroom 4 with 6ft bed, views over the surrounding hills and en suite shower room with basin and WC
Bedroom 5 with two 3ft single beds and a basin..
Shower room separates the two bedrooms and has a shower, hand basin and WC

Outside:

A sunny paved patio with steps down to an al fresco dining area, with wonderful rustic driftwood table and bench seating. Charcoal barbecue and hot tub. Steps or path lead up to the front garden and extensive lawns surround the house, with established trees, shrubs and planted borders, as well as lovely views of the surrounding hills and countryside.

Parking:

For several cars on the private driveway.

Additional:

  • Included: Bed linen and towels (Guests must provide their own beach towels), heating (under-floor oil fired downstairs with radiators/heated towel rails in all other rooms). Travel cot, high chair and fixed stair gate at top of internal spiral staircase. 
  • Internet and Telephone: Wi-Fi. There is no landline telephone available and mobile reception is dependent upon your provider. Please check with your provider prior to booking. 
  • Pets: Two dogs allowed.
  • Electric vehicles: Please note that this property does not have suitable facilities for charging electric vehicles.
  • Short Breaks: Short breaks are not available at this property. 
  • Local Facilities: Several sandy beaches on both sides of the estuary, accessible by car or on foot with a passenger ferry throughout the year. Shops, pubs and restaurants all in Salcombe. Kingsbridge 6 miles.
