Little Kershay is a stunning conversion, perfect for couples, and ideally located to explore the Jurassic Coastline and bustling market towns of Bridport and Lyme Regis.  It is modern, light and airy, with an attractive patio area and all its rooms are on the ground floor. Nestled away in nearby Salwayash, a quaint hamlet on the outskirts of Bridport, but close enough to enjoy the charming harbour of West Bay (recently made famous by the TV series Broadchurch) and the Heritage Coast.

Salwayash is a pretty little village a few miles north of Bridport. The area has plenty of walking and cycling routes for you to explore. Furleigh Estate Vineyard is a few minutes' drive as is Washing Pool Farm Shop and Cafe. 3 miles South of Salwayash is the market town of Bridport.  The Town is full of shops and supermarkets and twice a week there is an open air market which is good for artisan food and bric-a-brac.

A drive of around 30 minutes will take you to the ‘Pearl of Dorset’, Lyme Regis. The Town is well known for its literary association with Jane Austen as well as its diverse geology which people from across the world flock to in the hunt for fossils. The historic old town retains an olde world charm with small streets filled with galleries, boutique shops and famed gastro restaurants and cafés.  Its sheltered south facing beaches are safe for children and water sports enthusiasts alike with great fishing and leisure boat opportunities available from the Cobb harbour.   In the village of Charmouth you will find near the beach Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre a great place for local fossil information, tours and guides.  For those who would like a change of scene and a day away from the beach, the surrounding rolling countryside, which is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, boasts walking and cycling in abundance or perhaps while away a few days exploring pretty East Devon fishing villages such as Beer and Branscombe or head to the market town of Axminster to sample Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage Canteen.
