For the active there is plenty of opportunity to see the wildlife whilst walking, cycling or horse riding, or take a drive and see the views from the comfort of your car. Just 10 miles away is Salisbury popular for its famous cathedral and independent shops, with market towns of Ringwood and Fordingbridge close by. The large sandy beach at Bournemouth is well worth a visit and just 25 miles away.
