Dog-friendly, the pretty private garden complete with small summer house offers an ideal space to relax in. Ponies and donkeys are often gathered by the front gate, and the pipistrelle bat can be spotted at dusk.

The village of Brockenhurst, where livestock are free to roam the main street, is a short stroll away. Here you can find a selection of tea-rooms, pubs, wine bars and independent shops. The open forest, with miles of walks and cycle tracks, is easily accessible, and there is bicycle hire available in the village. The Georgian market town of Lymington is a 10 minute drive away.
