The huge expanse of beach at Torcross is four miles away, from here meander along the scenic coast road to the historic town of Dartmouth a thirty-minute drive away which has many amenities to entertain all ages, and the popular sailing town of Salcombe can also be reached in less than half an hour, or by the foot ferry from East Portlemouth.
