Downstairs the cosy lounge has a coal effect gas stove, for instant heat on chillier evenings. The open plan dining kitchen is well equipped and leads out to the pretty rear garden. A shower room completes the accommodation downstairs. Steep cottage stairs lead to two pretty bedrooms, a twin room at the front and king size master bedroom with en-suite bathroom overlooking the rear garden.

Just a short 10 minute walk takes you to Lymington’s bustling High Street, with secret alleyways and courtyards all home to a variety of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Since 1250AD the ancient charter market has lined the High Street every Saturday and is a must visit, with a wide selection of stalls and crafts. The Lymington Sea Water Baths offering kayak and paddle board hire is close by, as are the marinas and Solent Way coastal path, with views across the Solent towards the Isle of Wight. Wander down to the station to catch a train to the ferry port and onto Yarmouth, just a 30 minute trip. The beautiful New Forest National Park is within a 10 minute drive with miles of heathland to explore - enjoy walking, cycling or horse riding amongst the free-roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys.
