Braeside Cottage is a dog friendly holiday cottage.
Overlooking the open Forest, with ponies, cattle and even pigs ambling by, Breaside Cottage is ideally located for your New Forest holiday. Comfortably accommodating six guests, each bedroom has its own dedicated bath or shower room, offering extra privacy. With one of the double bedrooms located on the ground floor, the property is perfectly laid-out for multi-generational families and those with mobility requirements.
A large lounge leads into a bright garden room, with plenty of comfortable seating areas for the whole family to relax and enjoy. The fully equipped modern kitchen with central island unit leads into a dining area with French doors onto the garden terrace, and a separate utility room houses an additional oven offering flexibility for cooking family meals. The garden is a particularly attractive feature of Braeside Cottage, with a pretty summerhouse, outdoor seating and tucked away areas to explore!
The downstairs bedroom has use of a shower room with walk-in shower and seat suitable for the less mobile. Upstairs are two further bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms, and fantastic views of the open Forest to the front.
The New Forest National Park, with its free-roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys is right outside the front of the property, with miles of walking and cycling routes to discover. The village of Brockenhurst is within a 20 minute walk, with a selection of pubs, restaurants and café’s as well as a choice of mini supermarkets and gift shops. The Pig restaurant is a 10 minute walk away, as is The Balmer Lawn Hotel, both offering fine dining options. Within a short drive or train ride is the Georgian market town of Lymington where you can also catch the ferry to the Isle of Wight for an exciting day out! Other local attractions include Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Bucklers Hard Maritime Museum and many beaches along the Solent and south coast beyond.
