There is also a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Completing the interior is an open-plan living room with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside, you will find a small front garden with a table and chairs, as well as permit parking. 5 Oystons Yard is an idyllic base for exploring Whitby. Note: This property can not accept bookings with a Saturday arrival or departure day.
Whitby is ancient fishing port which lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is within close reach to the North York Moors National Park. Within the town you will find a selection of independent shops, traditional pubs and eateries, as well as a harbour, a sandy beach and the famous Abbey which is reached by 199 steps.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
