Summer Cottage is a stone cottage dating back to the 16th century, resting on the outskirts of Salcombe in South Devon. The property plays host to four bedrooms, which are made up of a king-size with an en-suite, a double, a twin and a bunk room, there is also a bathroom and a shower room. The property is able to sleep up to eight people. Inside, you will also find a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside, find off-road parking for two cars as well as a sizeable garden with a terrace and lawned areas and woodland. There is also an external studio with a TV, comfy sofa and table football, which is included in all high season bookings, and at an additional cost of £100 per week at other times of year. Summer Cottage is a tasteful retreat for friends and families looking to come together and make memories. Note: Max 4 adults and 4 children.

Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.
