Within the surrounding area you will find rolling hills and countryside, with public footpaths and the well-known Scalby Beck, which will take you to the coast. Nearby Scarborough comes with a sandy beach, a selection of restaurants and many attractions.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
