The Old Mill situated in a gated courtyard just outside of Flaxley, has three bedrooms two bathrooms and can sleep six.
Please note this property takes a minimum of 2-3 night bookings. The Old Mill is a result of careful planning and hard work from the owners to create a spacious home with charming architectural features; the exposed timbers and brickwork of the vast open plan kitchen/ dining area is an example of this.
Three bedrooms host one ground floor double with en suite shower, basin and WC, one double and one twin. There is also one ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over basin and WC. After a day of exploring, you can sit out on the glass-fronted balcony overlooking the courtyard and grassed areas, a tranquil place to unwind.
A lake is adjacent to the property and guests are welcome to walk by it and guests are welcome to explore it from The Old Mill.
Flaxley is a tiny hamlet close to the Forest of Dean, with local shops, pubs and restaurants, Newnham On Severn is only four miles away. From there you’ll find excellent views of the river and immediate access across the fields to the Severn Way footpath.
Somerset offers 3 Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the Quantock, Mendip and Blackdown Hills. Lose yourself in the glory of nature, take a ride on a steam train, visit a traditional farmers’ market or explore your mystical side at Glastonbury.
