Hosting three bedrooms; a king-size with en-suite, and another king-size and a twin along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to six people. Inside you will also find a bathroom, cloakroom, kitchen/diner with log burning stove, utility, and a sitting room with log burning stove. To the outside is roadside parking, and free parking in a public car park. Resting in a pretty location with an abundance of charm, Hare & Hounds House is a wonderful retreat in a charming part of England.
Allendale was once the centre of a busy lead mining area, and many relics of the mining era remain around the area. Allendale is ideally placed for access to Carlisle to the west, Hexham to the east or the Roman Wall just to the north. There are lots of walks and unspoilt villages in the surrounding North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is an ideal location for exploring the surrounding countryside or travelling further north to the glorious Heritage Coastline.
Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
