Dale Cottage is a luxury self catering cottage ideally located in the heart of Crantock village. The property has recently been extended downstairs to create a large kitchen dining area. The cottage was built in the 19th Century and has been renovated and beautifully finished with cleverly co-ordinated soft furnishings enhancing family efficient layout. The cottage exudes luxury and quality whilst having the character associated with the age of the property. There is a lovely bright, cosy and welcoming feel, offering something for everyone. Dale Cottage has an enclosed garden making it ideal for dog owners or parties with small children. Due to its central village location, you are never more than a five minute walk away from two pubs, the church of St Carantoc, the village shop (with post office) and other village attractions. As well as this, Crantock’s legendary sandy beach is only a short walk away, making the cottage ideal for families, walkers and surfers alike. Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £100.

Crantock is a small Cornish village set back from the coast close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the north to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.

Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
