Ashover is a superb semi-detached cottage resting within Darwin Lake Holiday Village on the fringes of the Peak District National Park. It boasts three bedrooms; a super king-size double (zip/link can be twins on request) with en-suite bathroom, a super king-size double (zip/link can be twins on request) with en-suite shower room and a ground floor twin room (zip/link can be double on request) with en-suite shower room, sleeping six guests. Inside is also an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. To the exterior is ample off-road parking and a garden at the front with a lawn, patio and furniture. Please note: This property only accepts a minimum of 2 night stays. Ashover offers a peaceful getaway by the lakeside. Note: Conference facilities and The Haven Room which seats 20-26 people, has a kitchen, living/dining room with woodburning stove and cloakroom with basin and WC, is available to hire at an extra fee for guests at this property.

Set peacefully in between the Hill and Sydnope Dales - hence its name, Two Dales is a small yet well-stocked village which provides The Plough Inn pub, a supermarket, a Post Office, garden centre and a butchers to name a few. From here you can walk into the awe-inspiring Peak District National Park, as well as charming towns and villages and the stately homes of Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House. The market town of Bakewell is easily accessible as is the spa town of Matlock.

The ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.
