Granary Barn is a modern, stone-built barn conversion is located on the outskirts of Ouston, Tyne and Wear. It is set over two floors with two king-size bedrooms with an en-suite bath and shower room, sleeping four people. Downstairs has an open-plan fitted kitchen and dining area. There is also a sitting room. Outside has a private patio area with a table and chairs provided, as well as off-road parking for two cars. Granary Barn offers a quality break in a lovely part of England.

Settled in the charming County Durham within the North East of England, you will find the delightful village of Ouston. Home to local newsagents selling all the household essentials, two well-established pubs, and a tasty takeaway, this village has everything you could ever need during your stay. Spend a day at the nearby popular living museum of Beamish and learn what life was like in the North East during the 1820s, all the way up to the 1940s. Venture into the city of Sunderland for a spot of shopping and a bite to eat before exploring the magnificent Winter Gardens and wandering the grounds to the 18th-century Hylton Castle. Climb up Penshaw Hill to see the imposing Penshaw Monument up close, or why not head into the university city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, where you can spot the Gateshead Millennium Bridge or visit the famous Angel of the North.

Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
