Fern End is a stone-built cottage set in the town of Rothbury in Northumberland. It has three bedrooms consisting of a king, a twin and a single room, there is also a family shower room and a cloakroom, the cottage can sleep six people. Also inside there is a kitchen diner and a sitting room. To the outside there is off road parking for three cars and a rear patio with a table and chairs. Fern End is a stunning cottage in an excellent location.

Rothbury is on the north bank of the River Coquet, and is dominated by the Simonside Hills. It is a market town and its proximity to Northumberland’s National Park ensures excellent walking. Stone houses line the town’s main streets and there is shops on offer. With a golf course, tennis courts and cycle hire close by and great houses and gardens to explore, including Cragside, Alnwick Castle (home of the Duke of Northumberland), Wallington Hall and a host of famous castles, this great location has plenty to offer. Hadrian’s Wall, Kielder Reservoir and Forest and the sandy beaches and dunes of the coast are also within easy driving distance.

Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
