Inside you will also find a kitchen/diner, and a sitting room with a woodburner. To the outside is off road parking for one car, and a gravelled garden to the rear with furniture. Situated in a pleasant setting with much to admire nearby, Edge Hill is a lovely cottage in a delightful part of Scotland. Note: bedroom is very narrow; may not be suitable for people with limited mobility. Property does not have a charging point for Electric Vehicles; charging from within the property is prohibited; Electric Vehicle charging is available in the village car park. Please note: Short breaks must begin on a Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday.
The village of St. John’s Town of Dalry is home to two pubs offering meals, and a general store. The nearby towns of New Galloway and Castle Douglas provide more opportunities for shopping. Ideally located for walking, fishing and cycling, the surrounding Galloway Forest Park houses some of the renowned 7stanes cycle venues and also boasts the UK’s first Dark Sky Park.
From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
