This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one twin, together with a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with open fire. Outside there's roadside parking and a yard with furniture. Kirkgate Cottage is a charming holiday home with plenty of attractions and places to visit in the area, including around the Scottish Borders and Northumberland.
The village of Chirnside occupies an elevated position overlooking the River Whiteadder and offers stunning views across the magnificent Cheviot and Lammermuir Hills. A number of interesting landmarks depict the village's long history, including a 16th Century dovecot and a beautiful parish church, believed to date back to the 12th century.
From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
