Westgate Cottage is a semi-detached property sat in the village of Lapford in Devon. There are two bedrooms inside, a four-poster bedroom and a twin room, there is also a family bathroom, the cottage can sleep four people. Also inside there is an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove, there is also a utility. A village in between the Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks in Devon. Lapford is a great spot for a relaxing holiday, surrounded by countryside and hills, it has a pub and a shop. The village has a great history, with a Grade I listed church, Lapford was also associated with the Archbishop of Canterbury, and is said to be haunted by his spirit. Lapford train station offers access to the towns and villages nearby. Exeter lies within driving distance and is worth a look with its architecture and activities on offer. The nearest well-stocked town is Crediton just 9 miles away.
