Sundial Cottage is a stone detached retreat situated in the village of Brassington in Derbyshire. Hosting two bedrooms; a king-size double with a day bed and a twin, as well as a family bathroom, this property can sleep up to four people. Inside you will also find a shower room, kitchen, sitting room with wood burner and an open plan sitting and dining area with a wood burner. To the outside is off road parking for two cars and a garden with sun terrace, patio area and furniture. Resting in a beautiful setting and close to places of interest, Sundial Cottage is a homely retreat in a relaxing part of England. Note: Guests with mobility difficulties should note that the staircase has two steeper steps. There are also some low doorways.
Within the village of Brassington, there are two pubs (both serving good food), and further amenities available in nearby Matlock, Ashbourne and Bakewell. Close by is beautiful Carsington Water, covering 750 acres with some of the best sailing in the country. The site also offers boating, biking and windsurfing, along with shops, a restaurant and a children’s adventure playground. An excellent base for exploring the Peak District.
