Chimes Cottage is a Grade II listed terraced cottage in the popular market town of Guisborough. The cottage sleeps two people in one double bedroom. There is also a bathroom with a roll-top bath and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburner. Outside there is permit parking available and alternative roadside parking nearby. There is also a shared courtyard with furniture. Guisborough is an attractive market town set in rural surroundings on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Steeped in history, Guisborough is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the town's most notable feature is the beautiful ruined abbey, Gisborough Priory; standing in full glory, to its original height of 97 feet, the dramatic gothic east gable towers high over the market town and has become a well-known icon of the town. This bustling small town has twice-weekly market days, a good selection of eateries, excellent pubs and many independent shops.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
