Bastle House is a charming end-terrace cottage situated in the town of Haltwhistle. This cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms, consisting of two king-size doubles and one twin, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and woodburner. Outside there's a small courtyard with furniture and roadside parking is nearby. Bastle House is a convenient base for exploring this part of Northumberland. Note: There may be some associated weekend noise due to proximity of the pub.

Known as the 'Centre of Britain', the small market town of Haltwhistle is a great place from which to explore both Northumberland and Cumbria. One of the best preserved stretches of Hadrian's Wall is only a mile to the north with various museums, forts and milecastles to be seen. This truly is magnificent walking, riding and cycling country, with various bridleways and cycle routes passing rivers, forests, castles and of course, Hadrian's Wall.
Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
