Hullet Hall is a beautiful, detached cottage resting beside Lake Windermere on the delightful Graythwaite Estate, near Hawkshead in Cumbria. With three bedrooms including one en-suite king-size double and two twins, this cottage can sleep six people. There's also a shower room, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside, there is off road parking for two cars plus a lakeside patio with furniture, wood fired hot tub and jetty. With gorgeous scenery surrounding the property and superb shared facilities including a pool, table tennis room, children's play area and 2.5-acre fishing lake located just 40 minutes' walk away, Hullet Hall is an ideal holiday home.

The picturesque village of Hawkshead still retains the charm and character that so endeared it to its most famous residents - William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter. Cars are banned from the village, leaving visitors free to wander the wealth of tiny alleyways, thoroughfares, archways and courtyards between the whitewashed 17th Century houses. With stunning scenery and numerous attractions within easy touring distance, Hawkshead is in an ideal location at any time of the year.

Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Heated by woodchip boiler (underfloor in sitting room) with woodburner. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi available at Home Farm courtyard (approximately 5 minute drive from property). Fuel, power and a starter pack of logs for woodburner inc. in rent. Logs can be purchased at the farm shop. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Off-road parking for 2 cars. Lakeside patio with jetty and furniture. Shared use of estate grounds and facilities 40 mins walk, inc. indoor heated swimming pool, table tennis room (please bring your own racquets and balls), children's play area, 2.5-acre trout fishing lake. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops 5.3 miles, pubs 2 miles. Water from private supply, fed from freshwater lake. To avoid disappointment, we recommend booking Graythwaite Adventure in advance. Graythwaite fishery is free for all guests and equipment can be hired locally, a small fee is applicable to keep your catch, rod fishing license required. Mobile reception at this cottage is generally good. Please Note: This property is accessed via a half mile woodland track, not suitable for low-profile cars. Please Note: This property has a £500 Good Housekeeping Bond. Please note the swimming pool will be unavailable until the 30th of April 2025. We do have good news for those of you who were hoping to go swimming. You will be able to use the Lakeside Hotel & Spa. This is 2 miles from the Estate and you will pass it coming from the southerly Newby Bridge direction. The following information / conditions are in place: The Pool and Gym is open from 7am -7pm daily with towels provided. The pool is 17m long and 1.4m deep in the main area with a sloped beach effect as you enter from the steps. At the poolside there is a Jacuzzi, Steam Room and Sauna, which you are also able to use. There will be a limit of up to 8 guests at any one time and the time slot is for a maximum of 1 1/2 hours.
