Crabtree is a welcoming, single-storey cottage set in a central courtyard location on the Graythwaite Estate near Hawkshead in the Lake District. With two bedrooms including one double with en-suite and one twin, the cottage can sleep four people. There's also a family bathroom, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside, there is ample parking available off road, plus a shared patio with furniture and BBQ. With shared use of the estate's extensive grounds and wonderful on-site facilities including an indoor heated pool, trout fishing lake and a children's play area, Crabtree offers guests a welcoming holiday home for your next getaway in the Lakes.

The picturesque village of Hawkshead still retains the charm and character that so endeared it to its most famous residents - William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter. Cars are banned from the village, leaving visitors free to wander the wealth of tiny alleyways, thoroughfares, archways and courtyards between the whitewashed 17th Century houses. With stunning scenery and numerous attractions within easy touring distance, Hawkshead is in an ideal location at any time of the year.

Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Graythwaite fishery is free for all guests and equipment can be hired locally, a small fee is applicable to keep your catch, rod fishing license required.
