Can Brow is a pretty, single-storey cottage set on the Graythwaite Estate near Hawkshead in the Lake District National Park. With one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, this cottage can sleep two people. There's also an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburner. Outside is ample off road parking, a designated sitting out area and a shared patio with furniture and BBQ. With superb shared on-site facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool, a children's play area, and fly fishing. Can Brow is a wonderful choice as a romantic retreat.
The picturesque village of Hawkshead still retains the charm and character that so endeared it to its most famous residents - William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter. Cars are banned from the village, leaving visitors free to wander the wealth of tiny alleyways, thoroughfares, archways and courtyards between the whitewashed 17th Century houses. With stunning scenery and numerous attractions within easy touring distance, Hawkshead is in an ideal location at any time of the year.
Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

To avoid disappointment, we recommend booking Graythwaite Adventure in advance. Graythwaite fishery is free for all guests and equipment can be hired locally, a small fee is applicable to keep your catch, rod fishing license required. Mobile phone signal may be limited due to the location of the property.
