The Stables is a three storey cottage in Horton-in-Ribblesdale. The cottage has two second floor bedrooms - a king-size double, a twin and a room with sofa bed - along with a second floor bathroom. The first floor has a sitting room with gas fire, while on the ground floor is a cloakroom and a kitchen with dining area. Outside is off road parking for two cars, and a front patio with furniture. The Stables is an ideal base for walking or trying the Three Peaks Challenge, or just exploring this beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales.
Horton-in-Ribblesdale sits in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and has a lovely Norman church and two pubs. The surrounding countryside is magnificent, offering the ideal location for fell walking, with the famous Three Peaks Walk, Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough offering some of the most challenging walks in the country. The Settle-Carlisle Railway passes through the village and passes some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. The nearby town of Settle offers a wide variety of pubs and restaurants whilst the market square features the Shambles, an historic 3-storey building with shops on two levels and houses above, and the Town Hall.
