Mallard is a delightful, detached barn conversion, set on the ownerÂ’s 22-acre small holding, a short walk from the pretty village of Newnham-on-Severn in Gloucestershire. The cottage offers one charming double bedroom and a bathroom with a bath and a shower over. There is an open plan living area, which features a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove and French doors leading outside. Outside, you will find an enclosed lawned garden and a patio with furniture. There is also off road parking for two cars. Mallard is a wonderful base for a romantic retreat exploring the Heart of England, all year round. Three well-behaved dogs welcome.

The thriving village of Newnham-on-Severn nestles on the banks of the River Severn. The village is steeped in history, and offers specialist shops to suit all interests, along with traditional pubs, cafes and a weekly country market selling local homemade and home grown produce. This charming village, part of which is designated Conservation Area, has a tree-lined main street, many listed buildings, a striking central clock tower and is ideally located for watching the spectacular Severn Bore. A great location for a relaxing break or activity holiday, at any time of year.
