Apple Tree Lodge is a quality detached lodge in the grounds of Swarland Old Hall. The lodge has a double with en-suite, another double with en-suite and a twin, as well as a family bathroom. The open plan living area has a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with doors leading to a veranda with furniture and BBQ. There is shared access to the lawned garden and play area, as well as the grounds and woodland around Swarland Old Hall. With the Heritage Coast with its castles and golden sandy beaches an easy drive, Apple Tree Lodge is an excellent base for discovering Northumberland.

Swarland is a village between Morpeth and Alnwick, with a shop and post office. Swarland is close to the castle and garden at Alnwick, and is within easy reach of NT Cragside and Rothbury inland, or the castles and beaches of the Heritage coastline.

Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian's Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
