Old Orchard Cottage

Old Orchard is a detached property in Allerthorpe, a village a couple of miles from Pocklington in the Vale or York. The property has two ground floor double bedrooms and a first floor twin room too. The bathroom is on the ground floor, along with the rest of the accommodation - a cloakroom with basin and WC, a kitchen, utility, dining room and sitting room. There is underfloor heating throughout. The exterior offers off road parking for three cars, a small rear garden and a front patio. One well-behaved dog welcome, but not allowed in bedrooms or on furniture as per booking conditions. Please enquire first with Sykes if you wish to bring any other type of pet. Old Orchard makes a great base for family or friends to enjoy exploring Castle Howard, the city of York or the North York Moors National Park.

Pocklington is a small market town in the Vale of York. The town has a selection of shops and eateries, along with a civic centre showing films and a leisure centre for swimming and sport. Pocklington is close to many famous attractions including Castle Howard, Sledmere House, Burnby Hall Gardens and the city of York.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
