Set midway between the fishing town of Whitby - with its famous Abbey - and the spa town of Scarborough - with its theatres and promenade entertainment - this peaceful little village offers the best of both worlds. There's a network of footpaths and bridleways that run through the village, leading into the glorious countryside beyond. This really is a wonderful location with plenty to see for the whole family.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
