Morpeth is a traditional white‑washed cottage located in the centre of the Somerset village of Combe St Nicholas, opposite the village church and green. Arranged over three floors and consists of a lounge, a kitchen/dining room with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and a good supply of crockery, cutlery and utensils, with double doors opening onto an enclosed rear courtyard with table and chairs, along with a ground‑floor cloakroom with WC. The bedrooms consist of a first‑floor double with views towards the village church, a first‑floor twin overlooking the village green, and a second‑floor twin with views across the village to the surrounding hills, serviced by a family bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle, wash basin, towel rail and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed rear patio courtyard and off‑road parking for two cars at the front of the cottage. Smart TV and WiFi are provided. Oil central heating with electric fire. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. One well‑behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Guests can find a shop within 0.1 miles and a pub within 0.2 miles. Combe St Nicholas is a charming village in Somerset, on the edge of the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, resting between Buckland St Mary and Chard. The village boasts two convenience stores, stocking all of the essentials, as well as a traditional country pub, and the village hall regularly hosts events, including an annual pantomime. The picture-perfect town of Chard rests just outside of the village, where you can find further attractions and amenities such as a museum, a leisure centre, and a handful of shops, pubs and restaurants, whilst the rolling landscape of the Blackdown Hills AONB is sure to appeal to the outdoor adventurers thanks to the abundance of walks and trails woven throughout.
