Cider Cottage is one of two converted former cider barns, a Grade II listed 15th‑century stone property located near the village of Hawkchurch, close to the Devon/Dorset border. The cottage sleeps six guests across three bedrooms. good house keeping bond 200GBP.
The accommodation comprises a living room with seating, Smart TV and electric woodburner. There is a well‑equipped kitchen with dining area, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
Bedrooms consist of a ground‑floor twin with en‑suite shower room with walk‑in shower, basin and WC. On the first floor there is one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, served by a family bathroom with bath, basin and WC. A travel cot and highchair are provided.
Outside, there is a private raised patio with garden furniture and barbecue. Guests have use of a shared children’s adventure playground and are welcome to explore 27 acres of shared grounds. Bike storage is available, along with private parking for up to three cars and an electric vehicle charging point.

For larger groups, Cider Cottage can be booked together with the neighbouring Cider House to accommodate up to 12 guests.
WiFi, fuel, power and bed linen are included. Towels are not provided. Sorry, no smoking.

Hawkchurch is a village in Devon, England, 3 miles north east of Axminster on the border of Devon and Dorset, and about 6 miles south of Somerset. It is 4 miles north of the tourist and fishing village of Lyme Regis. Hawkchurch has a village shop which is run as a community venture. The village pub, The Old Inn, is a traditional coaching house and a hostelry which has been on the site since 1543. Nearby Axminster, which is one of Devon’s prettiest smaller towns, and has many attractions, including plenty of privately owned shops, a weekly market and excellent old inns, with one dating back 100 years with its own resident ghost! The seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer visitors with many craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. The scenic coastal path offers excellent walking opportunities and spectacular views of the stunning Jurassic coast, whilst the gently shelving sands and sparkling waters of Lyme Bay provide the perfect place in which to relax and unwind. Where ever you decide, Hawkchurch is an ideal place to enjoy with easy access to many areas around Dorset and Devon at any time of the year.
