Orchard View offers three bedrooms comprising a king-size with en-suite walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC, a further king-size and a double. There is also a family bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. The kitchen/diner provides a sociable space for mealtimes, while the property benefits from two sitting rooms, one with a woodburning stove and the other with a gas fire, offering flexible areas to relax. Gas central heating is provided, alongside an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, with an external utility also available. Entertainment includes two Smart TVs, a DVD player and WiFi. Fuel and power are included in the rent, along with bed linen and towels. A highchair and travel cot are available on request. Outside, there is off-road parking in a private driveway for 1 car, with additional communal parking for 2 cars, as well as bike storage. Guests can enjoy a shared garden with lawn, patio, barbecue and furniture, along with a private enclosed side garden featuring a patio, hot tub and outdoor furniture. Two dogs are welcome. There are walks around the village and beyond, moving up the valley to some of the most beautiful views of the Derbyshire Dales. Supermarkets, shops and a post office are available in nearby Alfreton. Crich, the home of the National Tramway Museum is 4 miles away, and Matlock, 8 miles away, offers a range of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as attractions including Gulliver's Kingdom. Magnificent views down the gorge can be enjoyed from the cable car that takes visitors up to the Heights of Abraham - a great place for all the family with its show-caves, nature trail, water gardens and Owl Maze. A little bit further away is the start of the High Peak Cycle Trail, while other places to discover include the market town of Bakewell, Chatsworth House and park and Haddon Hall, with Carsington Water offering fantastic watersports - not to be missed!
