The Barn

The Barn is a reverse-level barn conversion with oil central heating. The ground floor hosts three bedrooms: 1 x double with day bed and en-suite featuring a roll-top bath, hand-held shower, walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC; 1 x double with roll-top bath, basin, heated towel rail and WC; and 1 x double with a single bed. There is also a ground-floor shower room with walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. On the first floor, there is a kitchen/diner, a utility room and a sitting room. The kitchen/diner is well equipped with an AGA range cooker with 5-ring gas hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, while the utility houses a dishwasher and washing machine. The sitting room provides a TV with Freeview and a DVD player, along with WiFi throughout the property. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. A travel cot, stairgate and highchair are available on request. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with seating, along with an upper terrace area furnished with an outdoor sofa and chairs. Bike racks are available outside, with secure bike storage in the garage available on request. The village of Tideswell stands in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Famous for its fine church dedicated to St John the Baptist, known as "The Cathedral of the Peak", the village is also noted for its well dressing and carnival wakes. There is excellent walking with rugged peaks to the north, gentle hills and dales to the south and Millers Dale just outside the village. Mam Tor and Castleton are only a few miles away and the popular Spa town of Buxton is within a 15 minute drive. Tideswell has many fine country inns, a chemist, butchers, bakers and much more including a convenient supermarket open daily until 10pm. The pretty little market town of Bakewell is also just a short drive away and well worth a visit.
