Wood Meadow is a delightful home in Helford, Cornwall. The living areas in the property consist of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, grill, hot plate, combi microwave/oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, breakfast bar seating for four and dining seating for six and balcony, a sitting room with TV and woodburning stove, a utility with washing machine and tumble dryer, a study with desk, books and games. The bedrooms consist of two king-size with en-suite bathrooms, a twin with en-suite bathroom, and double bunk with en-suite shower room, along with a cloakroom. Outside there is a balcony with patio and furniture, large grounds with lawn, gravel, tree house and zip wire and off-road parking for four cars. hop 0.3 miles, pub 0.3 miles, beach 1.3 miles, river 0.6 miles, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. Helford is a picturesque village on the south side of the Helford River popular for its beautiful setting, thatched cottages, and popular village inn, The Shipwrights Arms, set right on the edge of the creek with its waterside terrace. Just a short walk away is Frenchman’s Creek, immortalised by Daphne du Maurier. The Helford River Sailing Club is very popular and a regatta is held every August. In the summer a passenger ferry runs to Helford passage, the home of the Ferryboat Inn, and nearby to the gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan. The wildlife on the Helford River is diverse and a birdwatcher’s paradise.
