A stylish family bathroom features a claw‑foot bath, hand‑held shower and separate shower, providing plenty of flexibility for your stay. The well‑equipped kitchen/diner includes a gas AGA, while the homely living/dining room centres around a woodburning stove, perfect for relaxing evenings. A snug with an additional sofa bed enhances the versatility of the property. Outside, a shared courtyard with seating offers a pleasant spot to unwind. With parking for two cars, WiFi, and a village shop and pub just moments away, The Farmhouse is a welcoming base for a comfortable break. One well‑behaved pet is also welcome.

Between the magnificent northern lakes of Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite, lies the village of Braithwaite. Still retaining much of its traditional appeal, the Coledale Beck runs through the village with whitewashed Lakeland cottages, two village shops and two real ale Inns each brimming with character! Between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw, there really is something for everyone. Visit Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the lake with an open-air theatre, or take a trip around the lake. Lake District Wildlife Park, Dodd Wood, Derwentwater, and Keswick with its wide range of attractions, are also within easy reach.
