Driftway Cottage consists of a kitchen/diner with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, and toaster, and a sitting room with TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms include two doubles, one with en-suite basin and WC, serviced by a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and WC. Outside, there is a garden and off-road parking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all included in the price. One well behaved dog allowed, second on request. . Please note: Dogs will not be accepted from November - March. no smoking. You'll find a shop in 2.6 miles and a pub in 0.4 miles. Driftway Cottage is a lovely base for exploring Norfolk. Note: The stairs are steep and the ceiling is low, please take care. The village of Garboldisham is set in Norfolk, close to the border of Suffolk, meaning it is a wonderful base for discovering both counties. Garboldisham offers a well-stocked local village store and post office selling local produce, and also boasts a medieval church in the village. The Fox Inn is a community run pub which at present opens Friday - Sunday plus Bank.
Garboldisham is close to the popular market town of Diss in south Norfolk which boasts a 13th century church and wonderful, winding, narrow streets which house tucked away, little courtyards. There is also a high street where visitors can find a selection of tea rooms and small shops and there are many activities in the area to keep all visitors happy, including golf and scenic walks, offering picturesque opportunities to discover this lovely area.
